Sour Cream Biscuits

What you will need:
Measuring Cup
Measuring Spoons
Parchment Paper
Baking Sheet
Medium Size Bowl
Wooden Spoon
Sifter
Rolling Pin
Round Biscuit Cutter
Oven Mitts

Pre-heat the oven to 350-Degrees F.

Ingredients:
2- Cups Unbleached Flour
1-Tsp Baking Soda (Bicarbonate)
1-Tsp Baking Powder
1-Tsp Salt
1-Cup of Sour Cream. (Sour cream should be the only ingredient on the container.) You can also use buttermilk if you like, either or is good.

Mix and sift the dry ingredients, gradually work this in to the sour cream making a soft dough. Once all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined, roll the dough out to about 1/2-inch thick using a biscuit cutter. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet. *I line mine with parchment paper for easy clean up and the biscuits don't stick*

Bake biscuits in the oven. This is a very old recipe handed down to me, so you might have to make some adjustments, I did. I added extra Sour Cream. There was no bake time given so I just keep an eye on them. Normally about 10-minutes. Watch for them to turn a golden brown color, they cook quickly so keep an eye on them. Remove baking tray from the oven with Oven Mitts and place on a flat heat resistant surface.

*Serve with hot maple syrup, honey or the honey butter.*
